Childhood ~ bye 2013

In a blink of an eye, 2013 is gonna be over soon and here comes 2014. So 2013 wasn't exactly a smooth-sailing year for me. I met with quite a number of obstacles and experienced much difficulty trying to overcome them. In some cases I succeeded but others I failed. What's next? I always have to ask myself (but I don't end up doing so). I have to just try to improve and see what the root cause of the problem is so I won't repeat the same mistakes again in the next year. I didn't exactly enjoy 2013 like I did for 2012 and all the past years. I need to forget what has happened. Well I went for a long trip which made me feel so relaxed after that. I really enjoy going on holidays, but all thanks to stupid June common tests right after June holidays I can only go on 1 trip for next year, j1 id be too busy with jct and a levels during j2 so probably no trip for the whole year or maybe a short one and j2 only at the end of the year after a levels then I can go on trip, a long long one probably planning to go find my cousin in Australia on my own hahah. So now life is so tiring and stressful with loads of homework to chiong and finish. Sigh I miss those childhood holidays I could go everywhere and be stress free and not need to worry about anything, seriously. Now I go on hiday I would also have to sorry about my schoolwork and how I'm gonna finish my pile load of work. Sigh. Actually I wanna go back to Paris again. Well, the entire Central Europe not the eastern one. Like Switzerland (matterhorn in Zurich was just da bomb!) and Korea I loves the trick eye museum and jeju they were fantabulous and Japan (mt fuji sigh seeing everyone's insta it makes me wanna go all those places for a second time again!) but maybe id never ever go back to Europe again cause I've already been there thrice and like it's gonna get quite dull so it'll be many years later wen I decide to go there again..... Hmmm... But my next place id really wanna go is back to china, like the scenic places like harbin kinda thing or US or maybe even South Africa heh. Well we will know next year (if results are ok to travel). I sound like I use this pass which is results before I travel right haha. It's just my personal passport kinda thing. No one said anything but I just prefer to score better then go overseas or I'll not enjoy the trip like when I went to Europe after pe results came out I didn't too enjoy the trip at first cause of results. So yeah. I really wanna go back to start of December again and go to another part of Europe again. Sigh. Why does time fly? I guess even if I question this I Won't get the best answer I want cause no one knows too. Time is something that is fixed and something we gotta treasure cause it is impossible to turn back time though we really want the last to come back right. Actually it's the childhood days of most people that we really treasure cause in it is all the tears we shed and the happiness we get after unlocking a new achievement. It is childhood that we make many mistakes and those mistakes are forgiven and from each and every mistake we learn and try not to repeat it again ~ so I just hope I'll take 2013 as a beginner's course and learn from all my many many mistakes in 2013, and love 2014 happily and not repeat any of such grave mistakes again.

EASTERN EUROPE & DUBAI 2013 <3

Diary for Eastern Europe Trip 2013

Day 5 - 071213

So 678 is still the magic number for the third day this tour. Waking up at 6, breakfast at 7, depart at 8. Let's call it the magic code! (It's cool to have 678 throughout the trip, but it's not also cause it's really early to wake up at 6. So we took this super long bus journey to Warsaw. Alright it's not that long, approximately 306km only hurhur with two toilet breaks. The first toilet break was really smurftastic and wonderful! (; we used the toilet at the petrol kiosk and as there was still ample time my family went over to Burger King and ate Whopper Juniors and chilli cheese nuggets which was fantabulous! 😋 actually ordered take away to eat in the long & arduous bus journey cause my cousin and I wanted to play with snow! So it just snowed yep! And outside Burger King there were many many benches and they were covered with inch thick snow so we started scraping the snow off to make snowballs and snowman and threw them around. The snow was as soft as cotton balls or even as soft as a sheep! (: after the toilet stops was lunch - Chinese food. At first, I preferred western cuisine to Chinese cuisine but after having few western cuisines in Eastern Europe, i begin to think otherwise. Their pork chops are deep fried and taste über oily and are so dry and hard, compared to the grilled types or those with sauces or gravy on top. But I'm still longing to eat yesterday's dinner' dessert which was their famous apple crumble! (: anyways nothing of yesterday in today's diary episode so yeah! (: then also at the second toilet stop we had this snowy field beside it and I sure had fun there too! (: after lunch was the expectedly boring city tour, but it turned out interesting! (: my favourite city in Eastern Europe is Warsaw honestly. The local guide said in polish, Warsaw was called Warszawa, made up of a boy's name and a girl's name. Most of it was tdy except for the palace that had this awesome lake and old town which was illuminated at night and was super colourful. According to the weather forecast for today, it wasn't supposed to snow but it did! (: sadly, grandma and my cousin could not come on the city tour because my cousin wasn't feeling well so he went back to the hotel to rest. Our hotel is Marriott, but I prefer yesterday's Mercure Hotel though it isn't that famous, but the room is loads more spacious and the toilet too. =) 

Day 6 - 081213

Bye Warsaw and our Marriot hotel, hello krakow. Krakow is not so nice I prefer Warsaw best still so far. (: we had western lunch which was a really good change from the old type deep fried pork chops cause it was pork ribs with gravy & mashed potatoes. So after that we had the city tour again, boring but hah I got used to it already. We went up wawel hill where there was a cathedral, some sightseeing stuff that are again boring (please don't mind me repeating this. you won't know how I feel till you experience it hurhur). But my greatest takeaway is learning a new polish letter. Yes really how to pronounce a letter. Normally people would pronounce Wawel hill with the alphabet "w" and not "vavel" but w is actually v in polish. (: so I learnt more about various languages again so yey! ;) then we had this free and easy time which we walked about and had this polish pastry tasted something like sausages with custard but it's all yellow not red and shaped like an egg tart. Then we bought their polish dumplings yes. Poland is famous for that. (: all so yummy then dinner was at this restaurant which we would be eating in again tomorrow night. :( sigh why no variety yea? Okay bye for today already :)

Day 7 - 091213

So today we woke up at 678 again, went to Auschwitz concentration camp and it was really sad and cruel to see the whole plight and how the victims suffered :( then after much tears were shed we had lunch following our salt mine tour. It was this optional tour not in the tour package and we took it on. So it turned out kinda boring, not expected. Just seeing sculptures and stuff but then the climbing was fun! Almost 60 storeys and it is only 3% of whole mine, climbed over 800 steps legs too tired already but tomorrow have a 500+km bus ride to sit too much tomorrow already haha. Then dinner we were served exact same food so sian already. Bye then nothing much to say left :P

Day 8 - 101213

So the long and arduous journey begins. Still 678 magic number. But actually te journey seemed shorter when we watch 49 days cause left with last 4 episodes (: but then we only watched 3 of them so tomorrow will be the finale... [hoho I'm excited and nervous too] we stopped at this petrol kiosk to buy stuff at krakow and there was ankle deep snow everywhere so playing snow again was the thing kids did heh xD. Then we went to Slovakia and lunch was in this deep deep underground dungeon thingy super interesting and soup was this western style "bee hoon" thing haha! Then we walked around the city cause our tour guide couldn't locate the place so we walked approximately 1.5km touring the place and finding the restaurant. Then we went to Hungary where we had the river cruise of the Danube river. The view was spectacular! (: lit Budapest was great! Budapest is made up of 2 separate "islands" separated by the Danube river. On board the cruise we listened to the blue Danube it was great and really nice (: personally I prefer night lights compared to the boring day that's dull. The side of Budapest which has Gallert hill is Buda and the other is pest. After that we took a 10 min short break in our hotel Mercure  Buda and went for Folkshow later. Hungarian style Folkshow with dinner was hilarious and yummy too! (: so bye for today cause it's already 2316 here and tomorrow our schedule is 530,630,730. It got earlier :( *cries* but never mine we go Gallert hill so bye! 

Day 9 - 111213

Hah woke up earlier today just to get the best ever panoramic view of hungary (Danube river to be more specific and some lil monuments around it) took this pano or a bird's eye view so called picture. Then after that we went to sightseeing places and our local guide was named Sultan but in Hungary, S is read as Z so the actual pronunciation of his name is Zooltan. Yea I gained more knowledge of various languages once again. He was quite funny but got kinda dry and boring towards the middle and worst still, the end. Well, if I'm going to Europe for a history trip then sure I don't mine Sultan. But he just went on and on and really enjoyed giving us tours around Hungary which really bored us. Luckily the scenery was really magnificent which kept me awake every now and then to spam pictures in my phone (;. Then my family took this group pic near Mathias Church and developed it, and it came packaged with this envelope that has the panoramic view of Hungary (day and night). It's really awesome, money well spent! xD cause Sultan was spamming us with excessive information, we were slightly behind schedule by 30 minutes. Then after Chinese food for lunch, we took This 348+km bus ride to Austria - Vienna. And the highlight!! 😇 Parndorf Designer Outlet! Actually I didn't get anything but mummy got a prada bag, prada wallet, prada sunglasses, Gege got a prada sunglasses, grandma got a prada bag. Actually I think the reason is cause I didn't want anything was cause I'm not mature enough, sunglasses I have specs and don't feel like getting contacts so can't too. Then Gege and grandma got fossil watches (;. So we spent dinner at Burger King, the best food there cause no time to shop so dabao some food so have more shopping time. Alright then this should be all for today and last three nights in Europe nuuuu I don't feel like going back to hectic life halppp! (: 

Day 10 - 121213

Oh hello I just realised it's 1212 today and I can't post anything like pics or status or whatever cause I don't have 3G in Europe urgh. But still, misses the last one! :( there isn't gonna be a 1313 or 1414 or anything else *cries*. Anyway today the view and stuff was really super good kay.  I mean the palace only (idek how to spell the name of the palace but it's just the summer palace thingy and super pretty). Everything we see that looks like gold is really gold, 23k gold. Then after that had boring city tours as usual and more and more people are sleeping in the bus during the in bus city tour already which goes to show how boring the tour is. But today's guide is really good, called Josephine I think, she gives good background about Vienna and isn't too long winded and dry. After the palace and in bus city tour we went to St Stephen's Cathedral which looked really grand and it's the oldest cathedral in Vienna and really beautiful! (; then we just took a short glimpse of the inside (free and easy) then we went to manner to buy chocs. Apparently according to our tour guide, Sam, manner chocs are heavenly. So we'll know when we get back home and try em yea! Then we took super long bus journey, 348+km to Czech Republic and it's our last stop before we bid goodbye to Europe. Oh wait we had a free and easy walkabout in Swarovski but the crystals weren't as pretty as those in Singapore :( alright alright back to Czech and our long bus ride. Cause we already finished watching 49days K-Drama, Sam played another K-Drama called iris. I watched a lil bit but not too much cause we only gotta watch 2 episodes and havva continue when we get back to Singapore but then I don't have time. We had dinner at this restaurant called Peking in Czech and the food was quite yummy, Chinese cuisine and first time seeing fried egg this trip yay for eggs [says the person who really hates eggs]

The hotel looks purplish on the outside and quite nice But the reception is like a bar, lulz. Then we have 2 rooms and again problem. Sigh. xx. One room had a single bed only for 2 people so how can we possibly squeeze? So we changed room with our tour guide who's room is much larger beds like double bed. Another Aunty in the group also faced same problem but then had a room in the same level. We can't be different level as grandma and Gege also. Always our rooms giving problem and yesterday our room had this super huge spider, I'm serious, and the hotel guy came to remove it into a cup. I pity the next person who's gonna drink from that cup haha who knows it's a tarantula. Alright I think that's all. Other than that the hotel is really nice and comfy! ^^ but no wifi 😭 for two nights no wifi = no chat with daddy = no insta = no life = no happy but = can coze with mummy and not spend so much time on phone more time together so yayyy! Alright bye for today!

Day 11 - 131213

We had this tour around Czech then after that free and easy. So cold but chilling in Starbucks yay. Then after dinner at barcelo hotel, fish but disappointingly awful :( but desert was great line sorbet! (: then otw to the bus after dinner someone's iPad was pickpocketed and she was just behind us. So dangerous. We better watch out next time! (: alright actually this entry is much longer but then idek why it got deleted so I'm too lazy to write again

Day 12 - 141213

So no wake up call for once, wanted to wake up at 730 but in the end 8. Departed hotel at 12 then went to prague international airport. Then when people were doing tax refund grandma and I were transferring stuff from one luggage to another cos of the weight max limit of 30kg per piece. Then yes Sam said some guy was standing around looking at whole tour group, probably targeting us again..... Then after checking in we went to MasterCard lounge (wanted Menzies aviation lounge but then no nice spread and too crowded. Ended up the lounge we went to only had some sandwiches but whatever still have to eat and it was really comfy so yay. Then we boarded the plane and reached Dubai at 1am by the time we checked in was 3am and slept till 730. It was sure tiring but.....Next entry... 😝 

Day 13 - 151213

City tour was fun. We took the short 5min boat ride to the spice market and the ride, though short was great. Then there was free and easy and bought slippers for our desert tour cause we can walk barefoot and our boots won't be ruined hehe. xD. We toured many places and this place had this carpet made of gold, super PWEETY! Then we had free and easy lunch at Dubai mall and eating local food, Lebanese food was yummy. Then after that we went back to hotel to rest for a while and went for desert tour. Sand dunes was great and jerky but cute and lucky I didn't get motion sickness. Then there was dinner and activities in the middle of the desert. Food wasn't too good. Then me and mummy shared a camel to ride for like 2-3 mins. Then tried on the Arabic kind of dressing and finally back to hotel (:  But we had supper (at 1030heh) at yakitori tei / yakitori house. It's the same place la. It's jap food and yum. (: then later we waking up at 330am to go airport at 430am. 

Day 14 - 161213

So the trip has ended 😭. Yes I dislike the group of 11 people and heard from others they dislike her too. Yes too annoying like urgh. Then there is this husband wife they are super nice! Then we went to Marhaba lounge. There are so many of maharba in Dubai airport we went to the wrong one when one was hair beside our gate. So we rewent to the one beside gate C21. So yeah it's not really Europe that's fun, honestly is quite tiring. But I like Dubai it's really the best highlight ever ok. (: excited to go home cause daddy buying chicken wings for me mummy and grandma <3 yay alright so byeb (: this trip was really really boring at the start but at the end was great! ^^

Diary for Eastern Europe Trip 2013

Day 1 & 2 - 031213 & 041213

We boarded the plane but time was a little tight but we still had some time to go to the lounge to chill and relax and eat some dinner, and when we signed into lounge boarding gate had already opened. Woahh. Cool heh. So basically it was Rainforest lounge by SATS. And I ate mainly steamed chicken (that was rather salty) and mashed potatoes. The plane we took was about 7 hours then we had a transit in Dubai for 3 hours or so. The plane we took was A380, well I took it once before already last time I think it was 2009 during my japan trip. ;) then in Dubai airport we took this train (equivalent of our sky train) from terminal A to terminal B/C. Then we went to the lounge again, this time round Maharba lounge. Time was even tighter and we entered the boarding gate just 20 minutes before departure time, also just when they were about to close the gates. Imagine what we were going to do at Dubai if we missed the flight omgosh. That was really late at night midnight already (3am in Dubai & 7am in Singapore) Then we had some fun meaning sleep muahaha on the plane this time round bound to Frankfurt. When we arrived at Frankfurt, we had collected our luggages and started to change into our winter clothing, which was really really thick and hot and stuffy. When we were about to leave, everyone in the airport was caught and stuck at the customs because someone had illegal stuff and we just had to wait till they were done. Ohmy waiting there in the airport, heater on, a good 200 people, all there it was sure stuffy. Following that we started our holiday journey. We boarded our 48 seater tour bus with only 21 people. Sure it was comfy comfy! ;) we took a super long bus journey from Frankfurt to Dresden. Sadly this tour we are not going to black forest again. When I went Germany in 2010 it was really fun making lots of snowballs and removing people's roofs of snow to make snowballs, really huge ones! (: in Dresden we had this city tour and moved around places like their palaces, semper opera house and many more! But because it's winter, the nights are longer and at 4 plus it turned dark already. We had a good time taking pictures and touring the city yay! Also cause it's the first day and we're still suffering from jetlag. 

Ohh and I learnt a German word which is pickel. Here's a joke first before I say that word. I shall walk into Macs and ask for a double cheeseburger with extra pickles. The workers would scrape pimples off their faces for me to have my burger cause I asked for extra pickels. <<in Germany, pickels are actually pimples>> alright I guess that's all for today and my Instagram account has all the pictures, or rather a rough summary of what we visited today. Day 3 - 051213

We had morning call at 7am and departed from Residence Alt Dresden at 9am. Then we travelled by bus to Berlin by bus for about 2-3 hours, in the mean time stopping over for a toilet break and lunch (Chinese food). Well, I prefer western food but not many people do sadly. After lunch we went to DM Supermarket to buy water and chocolates yum! We had our city tour after lunch and shopping! (: so this a actually where we went, hopefully I don't get anything wrong ^^ or spell anything wrongly, pardon me 

Unter den Linden (Reichstag & Brandenburg Gate), Berlin Wall, TV Tower, Revolution Square, US Embassy and others, German Palace, Old Museums, Broken church, Stalin Alley etc and Western food for dinner instead of Chinese food was  esp the choc mousse,  

Alright that's just a brief summary and now I'll tell you, diary, more about each place (:

Berlin Wall is just this long wall that is vandalized but is super pretty. And opposite Berlin Wall is O2 mall, the oxygen gas symbol in chemistry, and it's some car mart! 

[For the other places they are just monuments and we drove past them in the coach and we took pics along the way] 

At the revolution square, there was this group of people. They were chanting and shouting... They were having a hunger strike and it was really cool to walk past them but kinda scary cause i don't know when they'll come up and attack us! 

Then there was this park that at any point in time in summer there would be 150 men bathing there! (: it's this park in the open in public and I really wonder how it's allowed to expose yourself in public with women, little kids, other men walking past?? 

Oh and the traffic lights over here in Berlin are super fast! I'm serious. Before you can even cross half of the road it turns red and I think I almost got knocked down twice or thrice in this whole trip already gosh I better watch out. Actually it's cause I'm too careless I guess. Once was at the airport coming out and twice today cause the traffic lights are annoying and once more yesterday oh that means That's all for today, Day 3. (: more will come tomorrow diary. Day 4 - 061213

Wake up call was at 6am, breakfast at 7am and departed Azimut Hotel at 8am. We took this super long bus ride to Poland (Poznan). We took this city tour around Poland after lunch which was Chinese food and lunch was quite yummy too (:. Honestly, I find city tours kinda boring if we just tour around in the bus and not go out of the bus, but at times we do. (: we passed by many places and I felt that the local guide talked too much, but I guess he was trying to give us more information about Poznan and increase our knowledge! I'm quite tired of describing each of the places in detail but I enjoyed the Old Market Square the most as it snowed really heavily after that. The snow was super heavy and I think it was heavier than in 2010 in Paris. (Throwback) in Paris I experienced the heaviest snow in the past 23 years then and it was awesome and heavenly! Playing in the outdoors outside the opera house and making snowballs that are super huge with diameters approximately 25cm great yeah! But now when I'm writing this I'm actually warming up in the shopping center! I have many pictures and they are all uploaded on my Instagram so do take a look kayz! Alright I guess today is all about SNOW SNOW SNOW AND MORE SNOW SO hopeful there will be more snow! So byes and that is all for today already! (:

Huh

Ok guys. 2014 is gonna be a really really hectic year. I really don't know why to say and whether to disclose such private information here but anyway. there's not much time left and I have to really be more hardworking and study smarter. It's just a no no for 2014 to be a complete repeat of 2013 or I'll seriously be doomed. Time is not on my stride so yeah I have to work harder and study smarter. Yesh time management too! I have to waste less time and just stop staring into that stupid blank space it's not gonna be productive by just looking up at the sky or whatsoever. It'll just bring me more trouble and suffer more and do no good so pls stop that. I need to just buck up study hard study smart study less study productive. It's called studying smarter. More quality than quantity. Just by studying lots (something like what I did this year) it is not gonna benefit me yes. Not benefit. So I'll have to work out a study plan after I get next year's covered topics at the start of next year. Well the start of next year (just term 1) will be quite burned off again leaving me with little time for school academic work again (??) orientation/induction starts the year. 5days of orientation being game station master of this game called captain nemo's stealth and I shan't disclose the game information now yeah? So we just had to improve on the proposal and write the proposal. After that meet up again for trial and then it's orientation. Actually I signed up for ogl but I didn't get it and yes quite happy too cause being an ogl would need be to be super enthu and stuff and I can't I just can't. Well I will need to learn in the future but ah not now okays I'm bogged down by sufficient stuffs already. Other than that I'll have start of the year tests and also other Tkd commitments in school. Sigh. I guess I'll really really have to work put a schedule so that my time management won't be a problem again in 2014 and i really hope to have big improvements in academics. Ok. Enough said, I also want to look forward to 2014 now hehe. Anyways the start of 2014, really the start would be my dear birthday already <3 looking forward to it and celebrating it with my family this year. <3 my birthday is the first of January, new year's day. Well feels as if when people count down for New Year's Day they are counting down for me right? AWWH feel so honored man, ^^ THANKS GUYS ANW even if you're not but you actually are ok! (; heh. Also, from now on I'll start to blog in proper English not short form since I started this blog cause I wanted to improve my English, number 1 and number 2, I wanna have this online diary and tell people stuff here (hm you can say confessions i guess!) <- but I only confessed once, not exactly confess too cause i was given the idea to do so hehe and it's to my dear Natalie lee (;

HOHOHO HAI GUISE(: Im so excited for my trip hehehe! Next tuesday omgosh its drawing closer! ^^^^ yup im going to eastern europe and dubai and its like my third time im stepping into europe already but whatever! (: I sure had lots of fun then.. throwback to then... First time was italy and switzerland alone for like 12 days, second time was the rest of europe switzerland again, france (PS Heaviest snow in Paris in 23 years when i went there, Germany, ehh poop i cant remember, Belgium and some more more places). now its the eastern part! (: and heard dubai part has a meal in the desert OMGOSH im excited! (: so im not gonna be blgging for quite some days, im sorry but after that ill surely blog about the trip so do wait for that! (: okays! (: i guess its time i start to work hard hard after my trip - by that i just mean fnishing up all the holiday homework oh gosh havent started but never mind hehe i always leave it to the last minute or maybe even ... hello there peeps! (: see i just blogged yesterday, and today im bored to death in school so i shall write a blog post about my unforgettable scgs people (:

secondary 1 - maria is my bestie and i still really love her ^^
secondary 2 - gabrielle, regine, huilin, waylin, , meiyee, nicole, chifang, belinda, georgia (gabrielle's younger sis)

maria... shes super sweet and cute and we are about the same size hehehe :P we really spent loads of time together and was deskmate, still remember the sec 1 days where we spent time together in class trip to malacca, project together, eat recess together etc! (: <3 her to the moon and back (: really very trustworthy friend and yesh that reminds me! I HAVE TO MEET SC PPL SOON :) (:

gabrielle... so we met in sec 2. my first impression of her is weird & funny! (: probably cause i had this blue smiggle bad (and i still have it), and she has this other black (converse??) bag, and both our bags have skulls on it and the first thing she said to me was - YOUR BAG HAS SKULLS even before we met and were close close etc. (: then we got closer second by second, minute by minute, hour by hour, day by day, week by week ,month by month, etcetcetc. also sabah trip together and was her roomie together with regine, stefanie, caithlin, (: then the best thing with gaby was her joining taekwondo with me (: [so i did keep to mu promise, i said i was going to blog about her more so didnt blog there okkay] we had a whale of time together, went through white belt grading, white belt yellow tip grading, yellow belt grading together (sadly only 3 though cause after that i left already). but having training was super fun together nd really talking so much together was da best. (; occasioannly getting scolded etc but hehe oh wells, nobody caresss right (pls i sound so mean here :P) really sad then i wasnt picture photography crazy and stuff instagram crazy i would say, so i didnt take any pictures with gabrielle or georgia. so georgia is her sister (Primary 5 last year this year psle year). and we also came quite close from meeting every sunday for taekwondo, but then now aishh.. i wanna go back to the past and bond and train with her (: im sorry its not i dont like school training but then i like it too (: its more fun in school cause i know more people. last time i only know there is this other very very mean and scary guy called ze ling and he is so pedo okk =(( nevermind now im gonna talk more about other sc ppl who are significant to me (: and we also got into PEER LEADERS together right? huilin is awesome, my young docents partner. so actually what we did for young docents program (YDP), was to just go around giving primary school kids museum tours at Asian Civilisations Museum (ACM). it was really fun and an eye opener too for me, practising my public speaking skills and also crowd controlling skills especially when guiding super irritating noisy primary 4 kids ugh :P thanks huilin for partnering me well during my ydp term throughout secondary 1 and 2 (: happens to be awesome we knew each other in sec 1 from maria, then later in sec 1 we were allocated ydp partners yea?

chifang and belinda yall are botth really sweet and nice and i love your also (: helping me encouraging me etc (: thanks guyss!! (:

so many so many thoughts all in this one great post ^^

hello there peeps! ^^ havent blogged for 4 - 5 months straight. :P life has been too busy with everything. studies... school... going out... cca... =(( BUT sometimes its quite nice to feel busy. i still remember when i first created this blog, it was super active, blogging almost everyday. but then jct came, at least i bothered to blog after that, now its after promos and i didnt blog, shall wait till i finish my maths test first then see outcome then blog here more right. i just feel so bothered. yes bothered, but by i dont know what. surely there is something that is bothering me, i keep thinking about it, but i darent say a thing. its been really uncomfortable feeling. ok but other than that people are really nice :) i know blog is some public diary thing and its like the whole wide world can view my pictures, but then i still shall not (yup not gonna) post any pictures here. i used to post but i have zero zero idea why my pictures appear on google images and that is worse than a blog i tell you. then now im out of ideas of what to blog about (explains why mt Lang Arts is so bad also, and im beside natalie and she tells me to blog about her so OKAI) but before that i shall state a fact about myself - i hate it when people use the emoticon or whatever you call that "T.T", seriously, i hate it. whenever i see that i get really cross and its actually cos its not a smiley happy happy emoticon right, its somewhat like a straightface, and coincidentally "T.T" is the initials of my name so if you know me well, please dont use it okay :') also right, im just joking, yes just joking (so whoever whos gonna read this pls pls dont get offended or whatever) i was thinking it would be really really cool if i should change my cca next  year, just year 4 change one last time. then secondary 1 - 4 i will have a different cca lolz. sec 1 i was in debate, i didnt really like and enjoy it because it was really very time consuming and holiday cca sessions really very sian. sec 2 chess, i loved it a lot, went for some chess competitions but HAH it was a failure if i didnt come tj id continue in chess BUT now also closedown already because it has too ffew members  :( sobs. sec 3 im in taekwondo now its really really fun, time consuming i must say its worse than debate really. but  then tkd is quite fun and i love the ppl :) wonderful and lovely cohort mates and great seniors too (: sec 4 if i change i also dont know what to change too right (???) so i probably will not change so dont worry kay if anyone sees it (OR if you really wanna change Hurhurhur, text me whatsapp me twitter me or fb me). if you know me well enough youll have my nummber or know my twitter kay (: but still, I PROMISE I WONT change kayz (: would feel so bad, last time kept telling natalie, cassandra and jennifer to join then they join now i go also not nice. the same for last time with gabrielle and georgia :(( i joined valour taekwondo in sec 2 june holidays then when school started i kept persuading gabrielle to join me then she joined and her younger sister, georgia joined too (: it was really fun with her. [[[ i shall not reveal more about gabrielle or any other scgs people cos ill soon be writing a blog post on them]]] (:

natalie... shes really awesome, loves the phrase "are you mental", super nice! :) pretty too! our frienship started off in term 1, almost very soon when school started yeaah? we were appointed to be in same group, group 1 and we had this super crazy whatsapp group called ju hua. (yellow means some disgusting thing i shant reveal here okie?) then we had all the HILARIOUS projects together (by the way natalie loves the word hilarious too). bonding time! <3 i love her okkay. happens to be so awesome great wonderful etc that we joined same cca also - taekwondo. :) everything super fun and gorgeous (nat's fav overused word) with nat okk.. ^^ shes really nice and always encourages me and helps me and we do a lot of stuff together. :) mostly i rant about everything i dont like to her and complain about stuff to her too. :) *TRUSTWORTHY* love you nat. :)

Ndp celebrations in tjc

I miss scgs so bad after ndp celebrations this year made me feel worse. duhh I regret leaving. ;( well everything would have been better. Though people in TJ are awesomely nice (KERRYN NATA RYAN esp) but still i still prefer sc - studies wise. Ndp celebrations today so far singing those niceynicey songs. But then sc had gym performance dance performance etc. really regret with drawing myself out of ndp 2012 (loving Singapore our home) drew myself out from ndp, I mean the real one that goes on tv that one. Aish. HOW COME. Some things right, once you don't do it, it is gone already. haha but then ndp celebrations here are not bad too, quite fun, with awesome people ^^ then after ndp celebrations there was mass dance haha stereo hearts with kerrynn super funny, only the my hearts a stereo ... we can remember super  well heh! then Temasek Appreciation ceremony <3 tj tkd super awesomeee :P <3 after that nat had some ip council stufff so kerryn and i ate some food first then  went chalking. :) super fun! :) THEN SMURFS 2 AFTER THAT...! yoou know what? creepy feelings

creepy. eerie. frightened. terrible. hair-raising. disturbing. all these feelings are running through my mind. why is reality like that? just tell me now, WHY? im feeling stalked and youre obviously creeping  me out. ;( hmm but other than that, well, life's been passing just like that and so fast its already gonna be week 6 soon and NDP is coming soon! ugh i should have gone for scgs ndp 2012 perf last year leh. ;( but oh wells ~ its all too late. well last time there was late starts on friday mornings after their ndp prac till 11 plus  at night on thursdayy.. Oo .. kay la if i had gone id probably find it super tiring then dread ndp rehearsals.. but now come to think of it, id prolly never get such an opportunity ever again.... -.- i likey the ndp goodie baggy too. so last year... awesome gabee da bunny gave me one ndp bag then when they sent to skool for the ndp perfs, they had one for non-performers too :P i had 2 in the end.... :) well i miss sc. if i didnt leave. i bet my grades would have been much loads better.... see in sec 1 and 2 my name was up on the honour roll every term but then now hah....... the last on the failure roll? :o sighh.. okay needa get back to serious stuff alreadyyy..

time flies, yes it does! :( two weeks of term 3, aka the super hectic term have flown past just like that. i dont know what to say about how i spent my two weeks. i wasted them, when i could have done so much during that time! one day has 24 hours, one week has 7 days, 2 weeks have 14 days, 14x24 = 336 hours have passed, and thats just if i choose to be a nice soul and count the time wasted in hours to make myself not feel so bad for wasting precious time. ); see if i counted them in seconds, the amount of time wasted is the same, but just that the figures make it seem biggerrrr. owo whats the highlight for this week! oh well! my piano exam! 

Tomorrow is DA DAYYY :):) isnt that great? haha i think i really hated, ya note the tense, before that, but now come to think of it, i quite like piano! it releases stress or whatever la, the music that is being produced as you sink your beautiful slender fingers into the piano keys. dum-dum-dum-dum. ahhhh so shiok! :) i just hope to keep calm, playing Almand, Mignon, Soiree Polka :P dont ask me what they mean coz truth is i dont really know hah

my strong piece is of course polkaaaa hehe think of polka dots, and childhood! :P im weirdooooo. im just scared for the aural part and the sightreading part. >: are they gonna go well?? Hope so ley! anyway, its getting late, i needa sleep already. so bye people! ~~

hello. :) jcts, hmm. didnt go too well, my results are all very ... too, failed everything, havent passed so far. so far, yeahh. :( but still have chinese, humans, bio and chem. well, chem and bio are my only subject w hope. the subject that i wont THINK i will fail. :o but who knows.. lets just leave it to fate to decide. lessons are getting more and more boring, whywhy. i think its because i m starting to really hate hate some of these subjects.. :( esp la, math and physics. really. why cant i write a proper poa. :( consultations w teacher dont really help much for la, coz like i really dont know what i am doing sometimes, tbh.. :/ life went quite well after jct, BEFORE the results came out. wells i learned that i gotta enjoy myself as much as i could first before i get my results back haha. take this jct getting back of results as a wake up call for me to study hard. :( eoys coming in like 8 weeks of lessons, 2 weeks of ide and fun, 1 week of sept hols and 2-3 weeks of intensive studying then eoys. :( then freedom, then results again. this time round to see if can promote alr. promos omg. :( though its been quite sad, still had a little bit of fun that can let me cheer up, hmm, tkd hehe. :P but then also quite sad. wed's training felt so lonely... T.T ... as usual white belt and colour belt different group. then i was different group AGAIN -.- from all year 3 tkd people. :( sighhh. then also different belt from year 3 people and year 4 people. then i was all alone. :( urghh. really. really. why is this like that. :( then okayy.. today's wells i think its gonna be loads of PT or grading training coz half gi. :( oh nonono. byebye!

hah finally over ehh! :) after one month of studying, hmm last week only to b exact, it's finally over!! :):) just ended yesterday. hmm now all I needa do is... PLAY HAVE FUN RELAX MOVIE GO OUT EAT SLEEP SHOP hah ... Many more uh. The papers, tbh tbh tbh were über hard ogay. :( esp math, physics, etc. LA too haha. time really flies. 2 weeks have flown past since the June holidays started~. I haven't studied much. still stuck at the same thing for so long. math, history, geography, social studies, higher chinese, language arts, biology, chemistry, physics. err I'm totally clueless about math & physics, all those that require loads of calculations. i can't write a proper essay intro yet. totally don't know anything about the 修词手法 thing for chinese. don't know how to write proper humanities essay. there's only 2 weeks left for me to brush up on all this and start memorizing bio stuff chem stuff math formulas humanities stuff physics formulas and so much more... time really flies. i don't really have much time left to study. and yet, i still wake up so late and sleep early~ really. really. really. time to start studying hard for the last two weeks. why 2....? such a small number? aish that's because i didn't spend my time wisely. i went overseas. i played around with my time. i watched videos. i played games. tell me, how to find time like that? why am i still blogging away now? okays then ill go off now. one last thing. if i really go and put in my utmost effort to work hard now, i can really play hard after jcts erh with totally no regrets~ :| at this rate hmmph ... *lets not talk about such depressing stuff* okays. got to go.

trip during June Holiday 2013 ~

hello there! the past one week of my june holidays was spent on spending time overseas. wow it was truly fun in Thailand - Bangkok. all i can say is that it was REALLY REALLY FUN FUN FUN. highlights of my trip was mostly the tiger temple, floating market, death railway and elephant farm! uhh i gotta touch the tigers and snap some pictures with the awesome tigers! :) Tigers were shooo cute! huh i changed my FB dp, Twitter dp, Insta dp and Whatsapp dp to me with a tiger! :) FLoating market was really huge! Riding on a motor boat for one whole hour, passing other boats selling fruits, veggies, and even stalls selling souvenirs. We went to the floating market outside Bangkok, because, it was BIGGERRRRR. After shopping on the floating market, the boat driver (or wtv you call him) dropped us off at a temple by the river! It was interesting!!!  After praying, we took our journey back. WOAHH. ALIGATORSSSS - i saw them by the riverr where people would shower... omgeehh. elephant farm was awesome! The elephant trainers took us uphill and downhill again, and later into the waters. ! :):) heh food good, shopping good! i simply loved my trip. also uhh i skipped tkd june camp hehe. all those pt and stuff? yea skipped them! heh! xD hmm maybe next year ill go orr orr orr skippp again? :P who knows, pshhh i wont tell you anymore about my plans  to xxxx tkd june campp. :D also i bought quite a lot of stuff like smurf shirts, normal shirts and all that! :D kks byes for now!

TJC IP Open House 2013

IP OPEN HOUSE'13 was fabulously awesome! Reached school at 850, went to the crick room to place my bags, moved some goodie bags from the crick room to the GNCarea where the receptionist booth will be. My shift was the first shift and I was like hey the college tours are there and the Audi where the principle's talk will be is there. Then ms Lai or some teacher said that I spoke a little too fast. Many people came to find me for badges and I just gave it to them. Hehe. Not supposed but aish nvm one! Then after that I continued at my booth as well as chat with Ryan and Natalie. :p after my shift ended, I walked around the school and later went back to the crick room with Kerryn and Hyerin. We had fun time playing with helium balloons and throwing them around! Kerryn sucked in helium and her voice sounded so squeaky!! I didn't really dare to suck in the helium, worried that it would worsen my cough. :( We went out for lunch later on - fried rice, fish balls, meat, veggies. I quickly ate my lunch and went back to crick room to play with Ryan, Kerryn and Kenneth! ; we played hide and seek. When it was my turn, I really didn't know that Ryan was hiding behind the cupboard. Really  camouflaged very well ehh! Later we heard the mass dance songs being played! We went out to take a look but realised that we forgot how to dance to the tunes... :( we went back to the crick! We packed up our stuff and cleared up crick. Took some extra stuff from goodie bags. Psps: helped him save a goodie bag too! :) heh! xD later we went to the low wallto prick the balloons and throw water balloons and also stepped on some balloons in the crick room. Hehe Ryan said it was his babies. Then mr Andy was like after you pop your babies rmbr to throw their skin away! HAHA so funnehh! :A it was so fun!   I enjoyed myself thoroughly during TJ OH! Hmm maybe coz of the goodie bag hehehe. Next time I won't be able to get next year.. :( coz we are receptionists so we got it what! We packed it! :) before leaving mr Andy gave all receptionists clips and I took one more for him too. :) hehe. RALLY FUN LAH. I want 2014 TJOH come soon!! ARGHHH!

IDE Week 2

Song writing IDE ended. :( its quite sad. at first, I really regretted selecting music as my elective. but later on, I realised how much I enjoyed composing songs, melodies, lyrics and all with my awesome group members Ryan, Qiying and Tony! :) together with our awesome IDE tutor Mr hunt and ms sim, we've gone this far as a group - being able to compose one full song that is 3 minutes 34 seconds! This is truly a wonderful experience for me. I learnt more about music - how to identify chords, hooks riffs, iambic pentameters and many more! This is really what I enjoyed most from this whole enriching two weeks! :) teamwork! cooperation! perseverance! I learnt about all this while composing! staying back late in school, ,much later than the other IDEs because idk why too, but the experience is the thing that we want to gain and want to learn! Today is also the last day of Term 2 - though I have to go back for IP Open house tomorrow and also chemistry consolidation class on Monday. but yay coz im going overseas on Tuesday! :) After the term break is JCTs, which makes me really worried. But TGIF! After IDE, we ordered pizza hut delivery ( big box) and shared it amongst Ryan, Samantha, Qiying and Tony! Tuesday 21st May 2013

Today’s lesson was wonderful! We started off with a double period with Mr Hunt, during which we learnt more about composing short phrases of songs with sustained chords (sus), major chords, minor chords as well as chords involving the 7th note and the 9th note on top of the 3 keys from the chord itself. Personally, I feel that major chords are chirpier and sound more lively. In addition, we also learnt about adding hooks and riffs in our songs that we composed to make it sound catchier, more repetitive as well as enable others to recognise our self-composed song easily. After that, we were given the freedom to choose our group members for our task this afternoon! We spent many hours trying to come up with the lyrics, the melody and needless to say, we still had to familiarise ourselves with the playing. We moved from one music studio to another - the Tchaikovsky to the Strauss back to the Tchaikovsky and again, back to the Strauss. The Strauss studio had a somewhat musky smell that made a little hard for us to concentrate at times, however, we soon got used to it. After spending many tireless hours on our very own masterpiece, we finally decided to go home at around 6 p.m.. As much as we wanted to leave earlier, we still had our end goal in mind - which was to at least complete every single thing we needed to do for our end masterpiece before we allowed any group member to leave. In the end, although we felt extremely tired after a whole day’s of work, we do feel a sense of accomplishment. As of now, we are still considering whether we would like one of our group members, Ryan, to play some accompaniment on the cello. If he does, our song will consist of 3 different types of instruments and 4 pieces of instrument in total, namely, 2 guitars, 1 cello and 1 piano. We really hope that all will be able to go well tomorrow. We really enjoyed working together as a group today and felt that every single member was extremely cooperative and thus, making our work much easier!

Wednesday 22nd May 2013

Today, we learnt about song structure - how we could make use of the verse, bridge and chorus to write our song. In addition, we could also attempt to add in chords of various patterns into our song. For instance, the oom cha, oom cha rest cha, divided chords, repeated block chords, broken chords etc. This exercise  allowed me to be able to Following that time, we were given the time to further develop our music, this time round to make it be a total of 1 minute! It sounded as if it was a tall order, but we managed to get it done after we put in our hard work and concentrated well. We also managed to come up with suitable piano accompaniments (in single notes extracted from various chords) to play. We plan to go to school earlier tomorrow  to rehearse and practice our song once more. I find that my group is able to communicate well and we listen to each other’s thoughts during our songwriting process. I feel that I can improve by voicing out more of my opinions.

Thursday 23rd May 2013

Today, we started off by coming up with some chords to use for our song. After that we improved on our song and changed some parts of the song. Coming up with chords and all was extremely fun and I also learnt more about how we should use the oom cha type of chord patterns. There is not only one fixed chord structure for the oom cha, but we can use structures ranging from oom cha cha, oom cha rest cha, oom cha rest cha cha. These types of chord patterns can give the music that we compose a more catchy rhythm that will be easier for others to recognise and remember our song. We were given useful feedback to help us improve on our song this afternoon. We will continue to work on our current song. We feel that all members are able to work well and cooperate  as a group, and we are also able to talk to each other outside our class hours such as at night. Also, Miss Sim came to look for our group around 4 p.m. to tell us how we can improve on our song and recommended us to listen to two songs, namely, Nightlight by Sam Willos and Reunion by Yokokanno. She also advised to not make our song too depressing and have some life in it.

Friday 24th May 2013

Although today is a public holiday, we experimented out some chords using the piano and for some of our group members, because we do not have a piano, we also used softwares such as Garage Band. Such softwares actually do help a lot because we can make use of them to play some instruments that we do not have using softwares.

Monday 27th May 2013  

Today, our Music IDE period with Mr Hunt will only start in the second period so in the first period, technically, we had a free period, so we made use of that period to practice our piece, till we were slightly late for class. We planned to have our song played solely on our piano today because we decided to change our song in the end. After that, we realised that using the piano may not be such a good idea because playing chords are heavier and after some thought, we came up with a guitar chords to use. Lesson started at 0840. Today, we learnt how we could try to harmonise our vocal parts in our songwriting by using certain techniques like call and response, echoes and many others. Our task was then to include some of these elements into our masterpiece. We were contemplating between using the new lyrics or the old lyrics but in the end, we decided that using the old lyrics would be better since we were more familiar with them. From this, changing our song lyrics again after today would be too inappropriate as we would have lack of practice in the end. We feel that we were able to get the opinions of everybody when we make decisions that are very important, in this case, to select our song lyrics. Also, we could try to sing out louder. When we sang the chorus, there was a bit of echo because we were not sure of our lyrics. Memorising the lyrics well so we would not forget them on “stage” would be necessary.

Mr Hunt’s comments.

Guitar too loud, voices need to be much clearer, words inaudible.

Guitar and voices: need to be much more  confidently coordinated.

Needs more energy and zest in the singing. Don’t depress your audience!

At present, with one group member absent for two days, much work will have to be done when your group is complete. You’ve managed well at 75% capacity but now need to focus on transforming your song.

Later today, we worked on your chorus about flying up to heaven. Try to make this stand out from the rest of the song but still in a recognisable style and rhythm and with same tempo.

Tuesday 28th May 2013

Today, we spent most of our time trying to come up with suitable lyrics for our chorus as well as try to express ourselves better when we sing. We decided not to mutter our words but in the end, we kind of messed up the entrance of the vocals. This aroused due to confusion and messed up our song, but I am sure that this would definitely not happen in our final piece. I also feel that today, we accomplished many things. We could work well as a group by cooperating and we managed to come up with new lyrics for our chorus that fits in well in the song and also managed to practise when exactly we need to enter our song. We also recorded one round of the whole song once through so that we could keep listening to the song when we go home so as to familiarise ourselves with the transition from the solo section to the verse and back to the chorus and so on.

Mr Hunt: give yourself time to practice the whole song through. Don’t get bogged down in one detail. It is one thing to know how the song should go, but it is another matter altogether being able to perform it well. Now focus on improving your performance. Clear words please! And support each other.

Wednesday 29th May 2013

Today, we started off by listening to our films from our videos we took yesterday. I found them rather embarrassing. However, we should get used to it. After that we split into our respective groups and Miss Sim took our group from 1000 all the way to 1. She helped us a lot and we tried to incorporate other instruments into our music. We gave a try in adding the cello and the Cajon in our music. In the end, we decided to add in the Cajon into our music to give the music the rhythm. Also, instead of just having Tony play the guitar, Qi Ying will also play the guitar now. Tricea will be playing the Cajon and much as we wanted Ryan to play the cello, the cello was faulty so we could not use it, which was quite a pity, so he will provide vocals, and also background. We also came to the conclusion that adding the keyboard to our piece would be unsuitable because our song comprises mainly string instruments. I hope that we are able to continue to work and improve on our song after listening to our recording and watching a video of what was taken of us yesterday. With more cooperation together, I believe that our group will be able to achieve our final goal. More time spent together as a group to practice our piece, I believe, would be able to allow us to reach our final goal earlier. Singing up during the recording of our final piece is essential and I also feel that I should not be conservative when singing. Confidence is one of the main factors to being able to sing our song loudly and clearly for everyone to hear. Also, we feel that more work on the coordination had to be done after listening to our video today, so we worked on that today. In the meanwhile, we are still looking for an available cello that is working.

Being able to listen to ourselves sing this morning was a great idea, because we only know how the others sing and perform but do not know how we perform and do. Thus it is harder for us to see for ourselves and judge how we think we can improve on our song.

Thursday 30th May 2013

We started off our day by having an hour for preparation of our recording later on. We planned to use the out-of tune-cello, but found it a little hard to coordinate our playing as we only had around 15 minutes left when we made that decision. Also, we decided that Ryan and Tricea would be the vocalists, Qi Ying the guitarist and the drummer and Tony the guitarist. We spent some time practising with one another and later we recorded our song. It was a great improvement from our piece the other day, which greatly impressed the teachers. We hope to be able to do even better tomorrow during our final filming and masterpiece. We think that we should try to sing out louder and clearer too for the audience to be able to hear us loud and clear.

Mr Hunt: There has been much progress. Well done. The new section is a great improvement. Tony, you may want to check out on youtube some singing technique lessons to help you with the high notes. You seem a little tense when using the higher register. E.g. try this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p2Y_9PK438Y Don’t be put off by the operatic style of this teacher. All technique is the same whatever style you’re in. And words!!!! (Still not clear, especially you Tony!)

Awww :(

Last day of official training before the June term break! huh sad eh! Last day of official training means...last day where JC exco seniors will be our exco seniors. ehh. i hope our next batch of exco will be as nice as current batch. tbh, current batch is awesome already. They care for all of us! <3 So today, at the start of the training was a session for the june camp groups to split up and discuss about their cheer and all that. ugh sadly i'll be away for this time round's june camp coz ill be overseas. :( *i think june camp is gonna be fun coz the more the tears are shed, the closer the club will be* After that we watched the DSA people do their trial. ehhh quite scary leh! imagine myself being up there. hmm actually on second thoughts not as scary as competition right?? competition is in front of many schools, all the coaches, teachers, pupils and all staring at you judging you... woah... EXCITINGG stuff after that! :D We played captain's ball. We were numbered 1,2 and 3. But many people messed up their numbers and so at first there were about 12 people in number 1. however, after a while, all the number ones left...leaving all the year 3s and Lisa (J1 TA) and Juliana (J1 TA). haizz soon they disappeared too. :( seniors came...scolded us for not having initiative and all those same stuff...punishment came...30 push ups...after that need get permission to get up...before getting up had to listen to melissa scold us... ... ... always same thing la but actually they are kinda quite nice already, preparing us for june camp in a way too! :D so thank youuu hehe!

LOW WALLL


we were in half gi while playing captain's ball. Later we were given 3 minutes, yea only 3 minutes to change back into full gi and climb over the low wall. 3 minutes to strategise amongst the club as a whole on how we should help one another. flop flop flop again for me. im not sporty, i dont know why such an unsporty person has a tiring sports pdp, but it is still FUN. one word that sums up all the tears, BONDED as a whole, making it more FUN. all girls stepped on the guys palms and they lifted us up. WONDERFUL SENIORS we have! They really helped me a lot. getting down the low wall was tough for me too, so chloe and yu ning helped me down too. really wanna thankall the seniors who helped me in one way or another, really appreciate it. :)) first round we took 5 minutes. teacher not happy say must be one minute..... second round 1 minute 41 seconds ...... third round 1 minute 4 seconds ........ last round we finally hit 1 minute on the DOTT! :) YAY FABULOUS GUYS! :) thanks to seniors without them i wont have surviived that obstacle, really. :)

We took several photos as a club together! :) both at the gallery area and in the dance studio itself. Well, it was awesome! Takin' many pictures with seniors and all! When we were climbing the low wall and all! That was fun and awesome!

IDE

hey guys! First four days of IDE went rather well. I can sing up more, in a way.

First Day - We were assigned groups and my group consisted of Qi Ying, Tan Qing, Clarisse, Ningyih. We'll compared to my current group, I am sorry but my current group is better to work with. Clarisse and Ningyih left earlier without the teacher's permission at 1, while the other 2 and i stayed till around 3. Hmm unfair? DUH!

Second Day - Allowed to choose groups, do my group consisted of Ryan, Qi Ying and Tony! :) this was a much better group. We were able to cooperate and work well as a group. MUCH FUN HERE! (:

Third Day - We continued to improve on our song we composed and stayed up till 11 playing the piano. Uhh did we disturb our neighbours? ;o btw, wanna say that one of our group members are very very good at writing dark songs! Then after IDE we had our music assessment (not part of IDE), and my group members were Simyee, Natalie, Kerryn, Sukai. We played payphone! After that Cass, Nat, Jennifer and I went for Tkd training. Training today was uh fun! We played dog and bone, whackle and kicking and all, one guy (Joshua I think) kicked the target I was holding too hard and it hit the ceiling! OMG HAHA embarrassing
gahhaha. After that, all going for June camp had their groupings. Among the IP TKD people only Ryan, Kay Xin and Jennifer and I are not going. WE GOT OUR SPORTSEXCEL SHIRT TOO! :) <3

Fourth Day - today we had our mini performance and later we had some time as a group together. We stayed till 6. :) this was fun too! :)

Though I may have regretted joining music at any point in time, I urge anyone who thinks like that about anything! PERSEVERE! DO NOT GIVE UP! Jiayous everyone! :)

IDE uhh scared

Hello! :) IDE results came out yesterday. uhh I can say that I used to be very please with my choice but now, urm second thoughts though. Is it really going to be fun? Is it going to be very tiring and all that? There doesn't seem to have a "break" or "lunch" period in the IDE timetable Mr Simon Hunt sent to us music peopleeeee via email... We end at 3 everyday, we have to do individual / group projects. All sounds tiring, boring (uhh I'm not sure if it is going to be boring and all), but yeah I sure will learn something right? I mean it's like IDE, inter disciplinary electives. IDE is meant for us to uhh explore our inner world better? Learn more about ourselves and of course MORE ABOUT MUSICC AND SONGWRITINGG? Okays hopefully I survive the next two weeks of IDE and all that... I wanna get some better grade for my IDE, uh prolly becuz IDE has a grade and that grade for IDE is actually counted in our GPA... Okays then yeah hopefully I get some better grades. >< stay tuned for more updates soon about my IDE, &&&&& wish me good luck!

One last thing, becuz IDE week we end at 3 pm, and the timing is so late and I can't even go back visit everyone in scgs! yughh... Hopefully get some last minute get some early dismissal and i can go back scgs! :D that'll be greatly awesome!
